Mandela Day - July 2024

It's an absolute delight to give back and uplift our community together! We had the privilege of sponsoring a brand-new jungle gym and veggie garden to Parkdene Primary. A massive shout out to our incredible partners whose generous contributions made this Mandela day truly special. Changuion Landscape Architects for organising the vegetables, soil, layouts, and sponsoring a lemon tree and Intle Landscaping for generously providing soil, veggies and herbs. Together, we're sparking positive change and creating a brighter future for everyone involved. As Nelson Mandela once said, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."

Empowering dreams in Grootphesantekraal! As proud sponsors of the local community soccer team, we believe every child should have equal access to resources and the opportunity to dream big. Part of our legacy is to enhance youth development through sport, ensuring that every child, no matter where they come from, can aspire to greatness.

Abland was a proud Gold Sponsor at the Step Forward Against Gender-Based Violence (GBV) golf day, a meaningful event dedicated to raising funds for the Mohau Counseling Centre. The centre’s mission is to provide support and resources to survivors of GBV. Their commitment to creating a safe space and offering assistance is commendable. Abland stands in solidarity with the cause and encourages the Mohau team to continue their invaluable efforts in bringing positive change and resilience in the face of this social challenge.

Katlehong Crossing - July 2023

The Abland team, along with the Katlehong Centre Management adopted the park area opposite the centre. Giving back to the community of Katlehong our Ablanders set out to clean the park on Mandela day. We have also vowed to keep the park clean and hope to plant trees in the park as well as put down benches.
